BUILT ON SHARED WORK
Every map
has its makers.
Geographic sources
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Vector schema © OpenMapTiles. Tiles, glyphs and sprites are served by OpenFreeMap. These credits stay in editor previews and every PNG, including map-only artwork. Map rendering uses MapLibre GL JS.
Caption fonts
Noto Sans, Noto Serif and Noto Sans JP are bundled from Fontsource under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Original license and copyright notices: Noto Sans, Noto Serif, Noto Sans JP. Noto project.
Example artwork
The Lisbon examples on the home page are genuine accepted editor PNG exports from 22 October 2026, resized and encoded as WebP for faster viewing. Minimal Ink / Gallery, Vintage Atlas / Atlas, Blueprint / Modern and Sage / Gallery retain their geographic credits. No stock artwork or generated maps are used. Source hashes and export association are recorded in the project’s verification documentation.
Name search
Place-name lookup is supplied by geocode.maps.co, using OpenStreetMap-based results. Familiar and local name variants are shown when available. Coordinates and map navigation also work if name search is unavailable.
